Branding

Branding settings let you personalize FSM Navigator with your company logo. Your logo appears on invoices, email notifications, the customer portal, and the mobile app — giving your customers a professional, consistent experience.

Navigate to Settings → 🎨 Brand to upload and manage your company logo.

Current scope

Logo upload is the primary branding feature available today. Custom colors, fonts, and invoice templates are not currently customizable. Logos are automatically optimized for different display sizes and adapt to both light and dark modes.

Pro plan required

Logo upload and branding customization are available on the Pro and Enterprise plans. See Plans and pricing to upgrade.

Owner access required

Only users with the Owner role can modify branding settings. See Roles and permissions for details.


Where your logo appears

Once uploaded, your company logo is displayed in multiple places across the platform.

Invoices Top of every generated PDF and on-screen invoice
Customer portal Login page and header for your customers
Email notifications Header of invoice and appointment emails your customers receive
Mobile app Displayed in the navigation header for your team
Dashboard sidebar Shown in the sidebar above your company name

  1. Open Settings → Branding.
  2. Click Upload Logo.
  3. Select an image file from your computer.
  4. Preview the logo in the upload dialog.
  5. Click Save.

Your logo is processed and optimized automatically for each display location.

Logo requirements

Requirement Guideline
File format JPEG, PNG, or WebP
Recommended format PNG with transparent background
Minimum dimensions 400 × 400 pixels
Maximum file size 10 MB (under 2 MB recommended)
Shape Square or landscape orientation

Use a transparent background

A PNG with a transparent background looks best across both light and dark modes. Avoid logos with solid white backgrounds — they create a visible box in dark mode.


After uploading, you can preview how your logo appears in different contexts:

  1. Open Settings → Branding.
  2. View the Logo preview section showing your logo on a sample invoice header and portal banner.
  3. If the logo does not look right, click Replace Logo to upload a new one.

To revert to the default FSM Navigator branding:

  1. Open Settings → Branding.
  2. Click Remove Logo.
  3. Confirm the removal.
  4. Click Save.

Invoices and emails generated after removal will no longer show a company logo.

Previously generated invoices

Removing your logo does not affect invoices that were already generated. Those invoices retain the logo that was active at the time they were created.


Design tips for best results

  • Keep it simple — Detailed logos with fine text may not render well at small sizes.
  • Use high contrast — Ensure your logo is legible on both white and dark backgrounds.
  • Test on mobile — Preview your logo on a phone screen to verify readability.
  • Match your website — Use the same logo your customers see on your website for brand consistency.
  • Avoid text-heavy logos — At small sizes (sidebar, mobile header), text becomes unreadable. Opt for an icon or monogram variant.

Before and after

Compare your logo at full size and then at 40 × 40 pixels. If key details disappear at the smaller size, consider using a simplified version.


Frequently asked questions

Can I upload different logos for invoices and the portal?

No. A single logo is used across all locations. Choose a versatile logo that works at different sizes and on different backgrounds.

What happens to my logo if I downgrade to the Free plan?

Your logo is removed from invoices, emails, and the portal. If you upgrade again, you will need to re-upload it.

Does the logo appear on printed invoices?

Yes. When you download an invoice as PDF, your logo appears in the header — ready for printing or emailing to customers.

Is there a way to customize colors or fonts?

FSM Navigator applies your logo within its standard layout. Custom color themes and fonts are not currently available.
