Release notes

FSM Navigator is continuously improved with new features, performance enhancements, and bug fixes. This page tracks what changes with each release so you know exactly what is new and what has been improved.

How releases work

FSM Navigator follows a regular release cycle:

  • Feature releases introduce new capabilities and significant enhancements.
  • Maintenance releases include bug fixes, performance improvements, and minor updates.
  • Security updates are applied as needed to keep your data safe.

All updates are applied automatically — you do not need to install anything. When a new release is available, you will see the latest features the next time you log in.

Release notes format

Each release follows a consistent format so you can quickly find what matters to you:

Latest releases

Version 5.4 — April 2026

Feature release

New features

  • Manager role — A new specialized role for operations directors and regional managers. Managers get read-only oversight across jobs, the KPI dashboard, reports, and audit logs, and can invite Dispatchers, Technicians, and Inventory Managers — without write access to jobs (no create/edit/assign), and without any access to company settings, billing, inventory, or assets. Pro and Enterprise plans. See Roles and access control.
  • Sign in with Google or Microsoft — Team members can now sign in to FSM Navigator using their Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account from the login page, when your team admin has enabled SSO. New invitations work directly with SSO too.
  • Work Orders — Gantt view, recurring templates, and budget tracking — Visualize multi-job projects on a Gantt timeline, set up recurring work order templates for routine maintenance contracts, and monitor labor and parts spend against estimates as the work progresses. Enterprise plan.

Improvements

  • Pricing update — The PRO plan is now $34.99 per user / month, with several capabilities promoted from Enterprise into PRO. Existing PRO subscriptions continue at their previous price until renewal.
  • In-app help — A new help icon in the navigation opens the relevant documentation page for whichever dashboard you're on. Press Shift + ? anywhere in the app to open a docs search overlay.
  • Customer email lifecycle — Automated reminders and follow-ups for bookings, feedback requests, overdue invoices, recurring services, and end-of-year statements run on a polished schedule, with one-click unsubscribe in every email.

Version 5.3 — March 2026

Feature release

New features

  • KPI Dashboard — comprehensive business analytics with Financial, Operational, Technician, Customer, and Scheduling tabs. Includes interactive charts and date range controls. Enterprise plan.
  • Team Board — visual technician workload view showing daily job cards, availability status, and SLA timers across your entire team.
  • Technician Preferences — set preferred and blocked technicians per customer to guide smarter auto-assignment. Pro plan, Job Continuity feature.
  • Warehouse Bins — organize inventory within warehouses using named bin locations with alphanumeric codes and item assignment.
  • Stripe Connect — accept customer payments directly through invoices with automatic payouts to your bank account. Pro plan.
  • Telegram Notifications — receive real-time job alerts, SLA warnings, and team updates via Telegram bot. Pro plan.

Improvements

  • Plan-specific guides — separate Getting Started guides for Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans with feature walkthroughs.
  • Payment success page — now shows plan-specific guide links after completing a subscription purchase.
  • Subscription upgrade — onboarding tutorial automatically restarts when upgrading to a higher plan.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed tutorial not re-appearing after subscription upgrades.
  • Fixed payment success page showing generic guide link instead of plan-specific documentation.

Staying informed

Try new features early

When a new feature ships, explore it in a low-risk way first. For example, test a new scheduling view with a single technician before rolling it out to your whole team.

Feature availability by plan

Some new features may be available only on specific plans. Each release note indicates when a feature requires a Pro or Enterprise subscription. You can compare plans at any time to see which features are included in your current tier.

How often does FSM Navigator release updates?

FSM Navigator ships updates regularly. Feature releases and maintenance updates are delivered on an ongoing basis, with security patches applied immediately when needed.

Do I need to do anything when a new version is released?

No. All updates are applied automatically. You may want to review the release notes to learn about new features or changes that affect your workflow.

Can I request a feature?

Yes. Contact our support team to submit feature requests. User feedback directly influences the product roadmap.

What if a release changes something I rely on?

Breaking changes are rare and always announced in advance under the Deprecations section. Migration guidance is provided whenever existing behavior changes.
