Reports¶
Enterprise feature
Asset management is available on the Enterprise plan. Compare plans to find the right fit for your business.
Asset reports give you a clear picture of your equipment portfolio — what you own, what it costs, what needs attention, and how values are changing over time. FSM Navigator offers several report types that you can filter, sort, and export for stakeholders, auditors, or your own planning.

The inventory report is the most comprehensive view of your asset portfolio. It lists every asset with its current details.
Included columns:
- Asset tag and name
- Asset type
- Current status
- Location
- Assigned technician
- Serial number
- Purchase date and cost
- Current book value
Use this report to audit your asset records, prepare for insurance renewals, or provide equipment lists to clients.
Maintenance due report¶
This report surfaces assets that need attention — either upcoming maintenance or overdue schedules.
Key indicators:
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Overdue | Maintenance was due and the job has not been completed |
| Due soon | Maintenance is due within the selected timeframe |
| On schedule | No upcoming maintenance within the selected window |
Use this report in weekly team meetings to prioritize technician schedules and prevent equipment failures.
Act on overdue maintenance
Overdue maintenance can void warranties, lead to costly breakdowns, and create safety risks. Review this report at least weekly.
Depreciation schedule report¶
This report shows the financial position of your assets over time.
For each asset, the report includes:
- Depreciation method (straight-line, declining balance, or sum-of-years digits)
- Original purchase cost
- Current book value
- Accumulated depreciation to date
- Annual depreciation amount
- Remaining useful life
See Depreciation for details on how each method works.
Warranty expiry report¶
Track which warranties are active, expiring soon, or already expired.
Sort options:
- Expiry date (ascending) — see the soonest-expiring warranties first.
- Days remaining — quickly identify assets that need warranty renewals.
- Provider — group by warranty provider for batch renewals.
See Warranties for details on tracking coverage and filing claims.
Cost analysis report¶
This report combines purchase data, maintenance costs, and depreciation into a total cost of ownership view.
Columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Purchase cost | Original acquisition price |
| Maintenance spend | Total cost of all service entries |
| Current book value | Value after depreciation |
| Total cost | Purchase cost + maintenance spend |
| Cost per year | Total cost divided by years in service |
Use this report to identify which asset types cost the most to own and operate, informing future purchasing decisions.
How often is report data updated?
Reports pull live data from your asset records. Every time you generate a report, it reflects the current state of your assets, maintenance schedules, and financial data.
Can I schedule automatic reports?
Scheduled asset-specific report generation is not currently available — generate and export asset reports manually as needed. For automated business intelligence reports, see Weekly reports (Pro and Enterprise plans). For programmatic access to asset data, consider the Enterprise API.
Can I share reports with people outside my organization?
Export the report as a PDF and share the file directly. Report links require authentication and cannot be accessed by external users.
Are deleted assets included in reports?
No. Deleted assets are excluded from all reports. If you need to retain an asset in reports but stop using it, set its status to Retired or Decommissioned instead of deleting it.
